Bruce Adams…. Birmingham Jazz Festival
A message for my friends at Birmingham Jazz And Blues Festival.
I have been looking forward to this years festival as always. It’s always a chance to catch up with old friends and play some great music. Jazz festivals are more than just a gig. They are a chance to spread the word about our music, and for likeminded people to binge listen over a few drinks.
Unfortunately, I’m going to miss this years festival due to having a knee replacement. That’s the bad news…. The good news is that once I get back on my foot, Alan Barnes and myself will be working on a tribute to the Nicholas Brothers. I know this will take time, probably about twenty years, but while you’re waiting, just think of all the great jazz you can listen to in the meantime.
Jazzilly Yours,
Bruce
